About Me
If I had to identify myself as something I would have to say I’m a Designer/Artist. This may seem very general, but it’s not without reason. I have always been attracted to different types of design and media. Because of this, I have studied many different subjects that all relate to visual creativity.
At my last job I was a Creative Director/Project Manager at Cold Pizza Studios, where I worked for 3 years. As such, I had different roles:
-
I was in charge of coming up with ideas of how to approach different projects in order to achieve the goals set by our customers.
-
I had to make sure our team was well informed on what their tasks were
-
I worked to keep the vision of each project in line.
-
I kept in constant communication with clients to make sure everything was in order and to keep them up to date on the projects themselves.

Before this I had a few jobs, ranging from Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Game Designer. All jobs that helped me work and develop my skills in each different area.
I studied Game Design at VFS (Vancouver Film School) where I learned proper Game Development. I was taught by industry veterans such as Dave Warfield (Who worked on various titles while at EA), Dan Sochan (Producer at United Front Games) who help me understand the basics of what makes a great game and Jonathan Yao (Lead Character Artist at Next Level Games) who help me with my 3D modeling skills while creating the main character for our game.
I am currently working as a freelance artist (as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator) and on personal projects. My personal projects include 3D Assets for the Unreal Marketplace as well as 2 game projects (One close to release and a second in development). I always strive to grow as a designer and artist; doing my best to keep up with trends and trying different techniques and software to further develop my skills.
